This is what my job is all about!

Getting a someone ready for a Photo shoot, Event , Wedding etc. is the most rewarding part of my job thus far.

There is a definite transformation that takes place during the makeup process, and it's not just a physical transformation. There have been numerous occasions where I have worked on someone who is really self conscious about their skin, due to uneven skin tone, blemishes, etc. Upon completion of the makeup, I'll direct them to a mirror so that they can see the finished product. This same person, who was once shy and self conscious is now beaming with confidence and happy tears because of the way she looks! It's so fulfilling to be able to help boost someone's confidence & make them feel as beautiful as everyone else perceives them to be.

KEEP THE WARMTH OF THE SUN IN YOUR HEART

Last night I teamed up with photographer, Codi Critchfield.

Our model was the gorgeous, Kaysha Matsurra.

I had been wanting to do a shoot with a head dress for quite sometime. After talking to Codi, she had the perfect model in mind.  (And that she really did!) Kaysha has stunning features, beautiful brown eyes, and long dark hair. She even has native american blood in her veins, perfect model!

I used my Wolfe 6 Essential color Palette, to create this look. I contoured her out and added a clear gloss, to not take away from the dramatic face paint.

I loved having a hand in this shoot. With Codi Critchfield's, amazing eye for the perfect shot the pictures turned out stunning.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACEWAY Starting Line Photo Shoot

Just had an amazing photo shoot last weekend with Photography by Neisha! 

This shoot was especially amazing for our young, beautiful, aspiring model, Kylie Ware!

 We had a very talented mentor on the shoot with us, Brooke Weisbender! Brooke is a successful (MAXIM) Model, Motorcycle Racer, and Marketer. With Brookes professional background in modeling, Kylie was able to learn a few tricks for future shoots. As well as gain a better knowledge of the industry!

Welcome to my NEW blog!

Well for starters let me introduce myself! 

       I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.  As a young girl I always had aspirations to become an artist.  My love for pastels became a love for the perfectly colored shades of eye shadow and pigment.  

      Throughout high school, I was continually asked by friends and family to do their makeup for dances and special occasions. 

      In 2010 Lost Childe Productions Director, Tommy Woodard, reached out to me to be the makeup artist for an upcoming zombie trailer. It was my first time doing any special effects makeup. With my love for all things gore and horror, it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.

I  have then pushed forward with a career in the makeup industry. Working with some well known Salt Lake City Photographers.

      The rest is will be history.
